Then get a load of this. Yes, that’s right, “President George W. Bush tops Gallup’s annual survey of the “most admired man” for the fourth year in a row.”
Thank you, Gallup, for helping me respond to those who said (in response to the Time Person of the Year award) things like:
“As I’m sure you’re also aware (just for footnoting purposes), TIME has also chosen Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin (twice) as Person of the Year. So, it does not mean TIME admires the person…” - Jason Boothe (see Comments to my 12/19 post)
Well, “Nearly one in four Americans name George W. Bush, without prompting, as the most admired man this year, according to the Dec. 17-19 CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll.” I’m sure President Bush will take that admiration over the other anyday.
