Now was that vote really so hard? It’s a shame a handful of radical Senators had to waste 4 years and countless tax dollars throwing a temper tantrum to try to prevent a highly qualified judge from getting her proper vote on the Senate floor.

For those of you arguing this “tyranny of the majority” mantra, keep in mind that “we the people” still retain control over this whole process through our election system. If you don’t like the fact that Republicans control the Legislative and Executive branches, speak with your ballots. We Republicans have spoken in the last 3 national elections and now we have the majority. It’s not by some act of tyranny or abuse, it was through fair and proper elections. Republicans have won the majority fair and square and thus ought to enjoy the benefits of being in the majority pursuant to Constitutional allowances.

Republicans have won the right to advance a Republican agenda. Period. If you Democrats don’t like that, speak with your ballot. We did. We ended almost 50 years of Democrat rule and ought to be able to enjoy the benefits of winning the Presidency and a majority in both houses of Congress.

If you want a liberal agenda advanced, go out and elect liberal representatives into the majority. Don’t try changing the rules to claim the minority somehow should be on equal footing as the majority party. This isn’t some utopian society, there are winners and there are losers. It’s called reality.

Now it would be nice if the Republican leadership could show some backbone and get back to advancing the conservative agenda. Don’t let the tyranny of the minority and their rule-bending, tantrum-throwing, silly tactics make you forget you were elected for a reason - a majority of people support your agenda.
