Contrary to the groups claims, trying to find who funds this group was not as simple as they suggested since they changed their name in November. Walberg recently made charges that the group was funded by Soros, and those claims seem less then accurate at least historically as detailed by Texas Rainmaker though he did have some past interaction. More recent activity shows major donations from liberal republicans such as the Rockefellers and “It’s my party too” (Christine Whitmans PAC), if fact I didn’t find a donor that didn’t have a NY or NJ address.
