The Senate bill is dead… for now. Can you imagine if our lawmakers treated other criminals in our country the way they’re pandering to undocumented immigrants illegal non-citizens? Sure, I know he stole your car, but he’s had it for 7 years, so let’s put him on a path toward ownership. Now if he’d only had it for 3 years or less, there would be consequences for his actions.

And the undocumented immigrants illegal non-citizens are so mad that we’re not rewarding their criminal behavior, they’ve decided to fight back… against a country who has for too long already been providing them with “welfare, food stamps, medical care and other benefits often without paying any taxes“. The nerve of us.

So here’s the flyer threat they’re circulating around the day labor camps. (Hat tip: Part-Time Pundit)

Here’s the flyer from the scheduled Houston event. I’m glad they picked Monday, because I have my lawn cut on Thursdays. Whew, that was a close call.

The boycott calls for undocumented immigrants illegal non-citizens to avoid:

  • going to school
  • going to work
  • being in public places
  • shopping
  • buying gas
  • I guess that’s supposed to damage our economy or something. This from a group of 12 million who live off our government programs without paying a single dime into the system. It would be nice if you guys included our welfare offices and healthcare systems in your boycott.

By the way, did you know there’s an easier way to keep from supporting American transportation systems, schools and merchants? You can always…

The Senate sidetracked sweeping immigration legislation Friday, leaving in doubt prospects for passing a bill offering the hope of citizenship to millions of men, women and children living in the United States illegally.

    4. Thanks for posting the flyer. I heard about this last week and didn’t catch the date.

I will be interested in seeing how this is covered by the MSM. I hope they show pictures of those that chose to “use a white ribbon IN their chest.” Ouch.

    6. This is perfect. On Monday, all US Citizens should make sure to shop, spend money, buy gas, do anything we can to take up the slack.

Then, ICE should look for anyone dressing according to this flyer, arrest them and send them accross the border, even if they are citizens. Citizens will have proper ID and can be readmitted … illegals will end up back home where they should be.

All citizens should were Red/White/Blue on Monday…

    9. thank god the senate bill died!

there still is hope. the fact that this senate mess looks and feels like the bills that came out in the 70’s, 1986 , senator reid’s textbook issue in 1993–showing how nothing ever gets done despite countless laws and assorted BS that they pass. read it at this link–very short.

and finally the barbara jordan commission from 1990-1994 that all stressed a fence. as you know they jumped up and down but never put up the key proposal a FENCE. i have not given up hope that the House of Reps will put a fence up out of shame. i truly believe if we can seal the border from san diego to brownsville we will be able to live with whatever madness gets passed on the home front. however, if as in the past, the border is only re-enforced (CODE FOR LEFT OPEN) i think we will have a slow civil breakdown. this link will be a slow natural outcome

i sent my long fence rant–i won’t bore you with it again–to several columnist, senators etc. i will tell you, for the fence advocates, don’t give up hope yet. charles krauthammer and tom friedman seem on board. i think its in the air. hugh hewitt interviewed a ten year border patrolman and he said most definitely that only a fence across the entire border can and will do the job. illegal immigration will grind to a halt. here’s the audio link from hewitt’s blog. at least read the transcript.

it is getting talked about. the washington post, in a editorial mentioned it in passing putting its cost at two billion. that’s literally a drop in the buck for what it produces. the fines they are talking about come to 10 billion or more.
      it ain’t over yet………

and since we started this discussion back in the middle of march 30,000 more have strolled or otherwise crossed the border. is this a great country or what

The issue isn’t “UNDOCUMENTED” and it isn’t “IMMIGRANTS”…

Why just a day… why not every day?

      Here’s my proposal:

      A COUNTRY WITHOUT ILLEGAL ALIENS

    13. No immigrants in schools?
I’ll just bet the teachers in Texas will have a much quieter day!
Being a female, I am in the odd category, as I abhor shopping, but I will be shopping on Monday, you bet your boots!
Some of the schools in the Dallas area are catching flack for suspending students for skipping classes to join the marches. Parents are now protesting the school, as their absence was for a noble cause - HA!
Noble my foot! How many of these kids would have shown up for a march on Saturday? ANY excuse to get out of school.
As a result of the suspensions, they are also not allowed to attend their proms, one of the consequences is to be banned from school sponsored extracurricular activities.
Hey! My son got in trouble and cannot go on his 8th grade trip. He was quite upset about it, but my comment to him was: Sorry Charlie! YOU are the one that got suspended, YOU have to pay the consequences.
Should be a lesson learned for all these young kids.

    14. Why just Monday? They can do this everyday of the week and really show the Americans what this would be like.

Comment by Joe Ivy — 9:41 am

    15. I’m with Joe Ivy. I’d like to see the illegal boycott extended indefinitely and it would work to show them the error of their ways except for the bleeding heart liberals who would find some way to put these now unemployed illegals on welfare.

    16. Holy smokes!
Austin is seeing a HUGE influx of people driving in from Mexico for these d*mn marches. We are drawing even MORE in!
Who in God’s name left the gate open?
Why is the National Guard not on the border stopping these vehicles?
      This is really sad.

    17. Wow it is amazing to me how ignorant you really are. Mexican immigrants (undocumented or not) contribute to this economy in ways you are probably not aware of. Here is some reading for you http://money.cnn.com/2006/05/01/news/economy/immigration_economy/index.htm?cnn=yes

Please do not be so close minded about immigration; immigration is what this country was founded on. The day that we send immigrants back we should tear down that statue of liberty that is supposed to be a welcome for the tired, the poor and the hungry.

Who are YOU calling immigrant, PILGRIM?!

Comment by Erica — 10:49 am

    18. Y’know, I heard that when the Taco Shak closed for Monday, that people slapped notes on the establishment saying that they were never eating there again… That got me thinking, I want a list of establishments like that so I can never do business with them again. Tyson chicken, anyone? Not me! They got a boycott for a day? Good for them. I’m boycotting these illegals for the rest of my life!

Comment by Another sad Texan — 11:10 am

    19. RE the flyer, it says “contact your senators/congressmen…” Since when are illegal foreign nationals represented by America’s congress? Illegals are not supposed to vote and are not a legitimate constituency of our congress (although this seems to be the case).

Our founding documents say we have a right to defend America from traitors, foreign and DOMESTIC.

If illegals don’t have to follow the law then why do citizens? Time to grab our guns and start defending America from its congressional traitors.
