We often hear how certain groups in America are being alienated or viewed as outside the “mainstream”… but how often have you noticed that it’s the alleged “victims” (or their allies in MSM) actually drawing the dividing line?

Take, for example, the article on CNN.com today:

Gay, lesbian parents to line up for Easter Egg Roll tickets

Hundreds of gay and lesbian parents hoping to take their families to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll plan to start lining up Friday evening to make sure they get tickets for the Monday event.

National Park Service officials said Wednesday that children of all ages may attend as long as there is at least one child 7 years old or younger, and no more than two adults per group.

First lady Laura Bush’s office issued a statement saying all families are welcome to attend.

The gay and lesbian parents say they won’t carry signs or chant slogans, but will wear rainbow-colored leis as a unifying symbol.

So while the National Park Service is publishing rules that have nothing to do with the sexuality of citizens and the First Lady is announcing that ALL families are welcome to attend, the gay activists are reminding everyone that they’re different (while simultaneously claiming they’re just like everyone else) and CNN is declaring their attendance so special as to be newsworthy.
