Bottom line he pled guilty to "aiding Palestinian Islamic Jihad".  I don't care if he was acquitted of 1 million other counts, the one he pled guilty to is important.  The fact you're trying to defend an admitted terrorist is pathetic.</description>

					<description>Al-Arian was aquitted of 8 charges and the jury deadlocked on 9 others.  He pled guilty to one charge and will be freed &#38; deported soon.  The Justice Dept's only success here was to 'save face' in the light of such a prosecutory debacle.  It's hardly a victorious justification of the Patriot Act.</description>
