Perhaps the US should reconsider NAFTA and demand that all member countries comply with Mexico's existing standard for immigration. Maybe then we'll see Mexico's hypocrisy for what it is. They would much rather foist their problems on the US rather ...

The rest of the nation needs to understand that citizens of California are under attack! The legislature and flow of illegal immigrants are threatening the health of our state, and the health of it's legal citizens. We need our brothers and sisters in the rest of the union to stand with us and defend our country against the illegal's attack on our nation. Californian's don't want to secede, the illegal aliens want to control our great state. STAND WITH OUR CITIZENS!

Yeah, that’s right let’s let California secede from the union. It only accounts for like 20 percent of our entire GDP, who needs it?

And that amount is growing smaller daily as businesses and the people who work for them are bailing out en masse. Places like Tucson, the front range of Colorado and Washington state USED to be decent and affordable places to live. They are no longer thanks to the Californication of those places.

It’s only one of the most strategically located geographical entities for our military bases — who needs it?

You mean the ones that have been forced out by the nutters there. And sure, I really want to see a base situated in an area where Californians will harass, spit on and slander the servicemen and women there. All military bases should be removed from that state which is an idea the LLL Californians will wholeheartedly endorse I am sure of it.

Oh, and it’s not like Silicon Valley doesn’t supply most of our advanced defense technology either.

You mean those same businesses that have left Silicon Valley for places like Austin, Texas and other destinations? Silicon Valley is no longer what it once was thanks to high taxes, high cost of living and LLL's in the local and state governments.

I’m ashamed of my state government but does the rest of the nation really not understand what’s going on here?

Yes we do. We also understand that you WANT it to be that way. And we want NO part of it. You pooped in your nest-YOU clean it up. Taking responsibility for your actions is a concept that Californians never grasped.

To say that California is not worth fighting for is assinine.

Want a helping hand? Then look at the end of your arm, honey. I do not see Californians fighting for anything but gay and illegal alien rights. You dug your hole, now you get to lie in it.

A better solution would be to let California secede from the union and become a sovereign entity. They then could allow the unfettered and uncontrolled movement of foreign nationals across their southern border and force their captive population to accept and support the new "citizens". Their loyalty obviously is not to the United States of America and there is no reason we should interfere with their prompt removal from the Union. They don't want us and we don't want them so let’s bid them a permanent “adios”.
