"The anti-immigrant people are resorting to simple-minded comments and ideas because they have nothing else to argue this issue."

You mean simple-minded comments like calling us "anti-immigrant people"? You mean ideas like calling for the enforcement of EXISTING laws?

"Maybe the anti-immigrant people ought to have their own rally with the minute men, the Klan, and the Skinheads."

Talk about "talking points". I like how you conveniently forget to include the word ILLEGAL when you're referring to "anti-immigrant people". Obviously we're not opposed to immigrants... just those who BREAK THE LAW.

And maybe you ought to re-check who you're calling racist.

Augustin Cebada of the Brown Berets de Aztlán, an offshoot of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (MEChA), delivered this speech (audio) during a Fourth of July rally held outside the Federal Building in Westwood, California, in 1996:

"Go back to Simi Valley, you skunks! Go back to Woodland Hills! Go back to Boston! Go back to the Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You're old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you; leave like beaten rats.

You old white people, it is your duty to die. Even their own ethicists say that they should die; that they have a duty to die. They're taking up too much space, too much air.

We are the majority in L.A. There's over seven million Mexicans in L.A. County alone. We are the majority. And you're going to see every day more and more of it, as we ... we manifest as our young people grow up, graduate from high school, go on to college and start taking over this society. Our people ... are ... the vast majority of our people are under the age of 15 years old. Right now we're already controlling those elections, whether it's through violence or nonviolence. Through love of having children we are gonna take over."

and...

Susana De Leon, immigration attorney and instructor at the University of Minnesota:

"Yes, people from Europe are wet backs man... their backs so wet because they had to cross an ocean to get here." She added that it is not possible for minorities to be racist against white people.

My favorite bakery del Sol at Park Place and the Gulf Freeway closed. Arandas, on the other hand, stayed open. They now get my business. I made a note of stores that closed and plan to not spend any money at these stores.

The anti-immigrant people are resorting to simple-minded comments and ideas because they have nothing else to argue this issue. They are losing the argument.

The protests in favor of IMMIGRATION REFORM (not in favor of illegal immigration, a right wing talking point) have taken the country by surpise. No one expected 300,000 people to rally around immigrants in chicago. Or 40,000 in Houston on a Monday.

Maybe the anti-immigrant people ought to have their own rally with the minute men, the Klan, and the Skinheads.

I hope the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly known as the INS) paid close attention to the companies closing in observance of the “Day Without Illegals". Maybe they can help those companies close forever!

Now that I know who "honored" the illegal aliens that violate our immigration laws, I'll return the favor by taking my business else where! Bye Bye Tyson! Love you chicken, but I love my country more!!!

Here's a helpful link for any illegal wanting to do the right thing:
http://www.uscitizenship.info/ins-citizenship-process.htm

No amnesty. No "guest worker" status. No sellout! Oh yeah, and LEARN ENGLISH!

PS: How come all of the shows on the Spanish channels don't offer English subtitles??

A simple protest: If the illegal immigrants protest on May 01, 2006, then we the people will protest on Friday, May 05, 2006, by NOT! celebrating Cinco de Mayo at our local Mexican restaurant. Email this to your friends and contacts.
