Coming out of my storm shelter this morning and finally seeing the aftermath of yesterday’s amazingly successful “Day Without Illegal Immigrants” rally that was designed to shut down my country, I’ve decided to actively participate in the immigration reform debate.

I will start with a proposal that’s sure to appease all sides of the issue.

I hereby propose to the organizers of the “Day Without Illegal Immigrants” rallies that they keep the momentum going by taking it a step further an announcing a “Year Without Illegal Immigrants” protest.

…and once they’ve properly captured the momentum, perhaps they can move towards the “Lifetime Without Illegal Immigrants“.
