According to Judicial Watch (Hat tip: AllahPundit):
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that Department of Defense will release a videotape to Judicial Watch at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon that allegedly shows American Airlines Flight 77 striking the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. The Department of Defense is releasing the videotape in response to a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act request and related lawsuit.
Apparently they were awaiting the end of the Zacarias Moussaoui trial before releasing it.
Looks like there’s going to be a lot of disappointment on the Left… and explanations should be forthcoming from conspiracy peddlers:
The hole in the Pentagon was not made by a jumbo jet. Damage to the building was simply not consistent with the size of the hole nor the absence of debris. At the supposed point of impact, a whole bank of windows remained unbroken and there were no marks on the lawn. No airplane debris (except what was planted on the lawn) nor remains of passengers were ever found.
…and I guess they’ll have to make new conspiracy movies, too.
Allah’s taking bets on which Lefty will be the first to question the timing of this release. My money’s on the kids at DemocraticUnderground.com. And I bet after they question the timing, they’ll show us how Karl Rove actually produced this video on a ranch in Crawford, TX.
Update: I was right about DU. It only took until the first reply to the post about the video before some lefty brought up the timing issue. And for added bonus points, that same thread continues with folks claiming the video might be faked or altered. What do I win, Allah?
Update 2: Seems DU has “misplaced” that previous topic, but never fear, the other threads relating to the video have enough “question the timing/authenticity” posts to suffice.
