DNC Tried To Defeat Nagin

At least, according to Drudge:

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) secretly placed political operatives in the city of New Orleans to work against the reelection efforts of incumbent Democrat Mayor Ray Nagin, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

I have a lot of questions in light of Nagin's re-election.......

WHY were "they" able to bus people in to New Orleans to vote but weren't able to bus them out when the hurricane was coming?? (I assume they bussed them back from whence they came after voting, right?)

Are the "displaced" New Orleans' folks getting special treatment and being allowed to vote in both their "temporary" home town and their "original" hometown? I sure hope not!

Do other cities in other states bus people in from out of state to vote in local elections? What are the residency requirements anyway? Is there a time limit indicating how long this can go on?

After living away from the effected areas for a long time, have others displaced by natural disasters been allowed to return and vote in local elections?

What if those folks bused in to vote have no intention of ever moving back to New Orleans?

Will they be busing folks in to vote in the November elections? If so, how long will this go on?

Hey, New Orleans, don't come crying to me for money when the next disaster hits! If you are stupid enough to re-elect Nagin then you only have yourselves to blame for your future!

Rots of Ruck!

I thought that Nagin had lost his mind about the time of the infamous "chocolate city" comment. Now it appears that the populace of the Crescent City share his delusions.
