70 Days Until November 7th

Got an email reminder from Mike:

The November 7th election is little more than two months away. It is a critical election year for congress where issues of war and peace will be decided for the two years remaining while President Bush is in the White House.

We cannot win the War on Terror if we lose the political battle for congress.

Elections in many contested Congressional and Senate races could be decided by razor thin margins. Every vote counts!

Our countrymen overseas need to be reminded to take special care to make sure their ballot is filled out correctly and to get a postmark on it when mailing. And it should be returned at the earliest possible date to avoid any challenge by Democrat poll watchers.

Thanks, Mike!

Absentee ballots can be applied for by filling out Standard Form 76 (federal postcard application), which can be found at the Federal Voting Assistance Program’s Web site.

Absentee ballots are usually mailed out 30 to 45 days before an election. If soldiers, families or civilians requested an absentee ballot in time and didn’t receive their ballot, they can fill out Form 186 (Federal Write In Absentee Ballot) which allows them to write their votes without a ballot.

Make your voice heard!
