In the book, which hits bookstores September 19, the antiwar icon admits she has fantasized about going back in time and killing the infant George W. Bush, thereby preventing the Iraq War.
The book is titled, “Peace Mom - A Mother’s Journey through Heartache to Activism“… which is misleading. She pretends that the death of her son drove her to activism, but as has been well documented, she was an anti-war activist before Casey Sheehan deployed for Iraq… and then reenlisted for a second tour of duty.
In fact, her murdering fantasies even reached so far as to threaten her own son if he served his country.
“Our family was against it from the beginning. Casey was against it, but he felt it was his duty to go because he was in the Army. And he felt that he had to go to protect his buddies, to be there for his buddies, to be support, and they are brainwashed into thinking that even if they don’t agree with the mission, they’re brainwashed into just blindly following it. I begged Casey not to go. I told him I would take him to Canada. I told him I would run over him with a car, anything to get him not to go to that immoral war. And he said, ‘Mom, I wish I didn’t have to, but I have to go.’”
Translation, she would try to kill her own son to show her opposition to the war. If she had followed through on her threat, I wonder if she would’ve still tried to profit off his death to advance her murder-fantasizing “peace” agenda…
Threats to kill her own son for bravely serving his country.
Fantasies about killing the President of the United States.
If that’s her definition of peace activism, I’d hate to see her non-peaceful activism.
