When confronted with a substantive argument that shows Clinton's performance in the Fox interview was hollow, misleading, and intemperate (to say the least), his cheerleaders change the subject.

"<b><i>What does your argument prove? That the Iraq War is all President Clinton’s fault?</i></b>"

Did you just pull that out of your butt? Exactly where did I blame him for the Iraq war? I only wish I could blame (actually praise) him for the Iraq war. Maybe if he'd taken threats seriously during his administration, we'd be in a better position today. I mean, afterall, he <a href="http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/004/262bqypn.asp">kept telling us</a> what a threat Saddam posed...

What does your argument prove? That the Iraq War is all President Clinton's fault? Obviously not true. Bashing President Clinton for something he did not do gets us nowhere and just points fingers. There are more important things to be worried about. I pity you and your narrow-minded friends.

Stephen,
What he did in the Oval Office was the business of the American people... not "private life".

And "we're turning the world against us"? Really? So there weren't any terrorist threats or attacks against our interests before Bush came to office? Interesting.

We agree on cutting spending, but if you think Democrats would do any better, you're either ignorant of history or economics.

And I love how you claim Clinton did a wonderful job in office while simultaneously bashing Bush. What was Clinton's wonderful job? Was it a business climate built on unprosecuted corporate fraud? Was it a stock market built on a highly volatile paradigm shift in business brought on by new technology? Or was it his skill at raising taxes? Was it not responding to terrorism until he needed to shift the focus off his own transgressions? Exactly which part of his job was so wonderful?

His house of cards came crashing down the moment he locked the door and left the White House. That's why he and his cronies are so red-faced now trying to rehabilitate his failed administration.

Keep smiling and patting yourselves on the back. We're on our way to bankrupting America and turning the entire world against us.

"Oh sure, the economy is growing so nicely you say"

...more so on borrowed money these days (mmm.. unsustainable growth comes to mind)

The Great British Empire suffered the same fate of walking too proudly on this earth and if we do not learn the lessons of history, the same fate will happen to us.

I thought good fiscal policy was a Republican trademark! So much for that idea. You can praise your tax cuts as much as you'd like, but our outflows are growing out of control. When the global recession hits maybe you'll think twice. Honestly, I don't think tax cuts are a bad idea. Unfortunately, when you spend more at the same time the debt will eventually come back on our children.

...and get over Bill Clinton already. It really is pathetic that you people decide to attack a man's personal life when it had nothing to do with the wonderful job he did in office.

here's to Hillary in 2008...

Old Bill came unglued when Chris Wallace asked him why he didn't do more against the terrorists a.k.a. Osama Bin Laden. It was a pretty sight, what an egotistical buffoon.
