Hypocrisy: Thy Name is Hillary
October 14th, 2006 3:39 pm

Hillary is laughable.

“Nobody seriously can think that now, six years into the Bush administration, that the responsibility is Bill Clinton’s. I think that’s ridiculous,” she said Friday. “It’s part of a pattern by this administration that refuses to take responsibility for anything they do, anything that happens on their watch.”

Did she really just say that in defense of the most unfaithful, lying sack of political garbage known as the Clinton administration? A guy who couldn’t tell the truth in public or private about things large or small? Give me a break.

As for blaming Bush, yet again, for failures from the Clinton administration, what Hillary fails to acknowledge is that when someone lights a fuse and runs away, you don’t blame the guy standing there when the bomb goes off for causing the explosion. At best, we can fault Bush for not undoing some of Clinton’s failures faster. But when an administration leaves terrorists to attack without response, leaves a terror-haven like Iraq to make a mockery of U.N. inspections, leaves a maniacal dictator like Kim Jong Il with an illusory promise to behave, leaves corporate executives to lie, cheat and steal without punishment, all while fondling the help around the office, raising taxes and pardoning criminal friends and campaign contributors… you gotta expect the “Bill” to come due at some point. Unfortunately for Bush, it all came due on his watch. But fortunately for America it all came due on Bush’s watch.
