Usually I research all the candidates for state offices and vote for 1/2 Democrats, 1/4 Republicans, and I usually write in my younger sister for something. This year I just went down the roll and voted Democrat, Democrat, Democrat, Democrat...Got to put a check on power, that's all there is to it. And yes, though I actually am more ideologically in league with the Governator than with his opponent, I voted for the Dem Angelides because Arnold engaged in the unforgivable sin: he stumped for Bush in 2004. I will not now, nor in the future, vote for any candidate who supporter Bush. (This means you Giuliani and McCain, even if I have to hold my nose and vote for Hillary or Kerry.) I also appear to have wasted the 25 bucks I gave to the Ford campaign in Tennessee. But the 25 I gave to Webb in Virginia might have been worth a vote or two in paying for some TV ad time. All in all, a great night for me. My first priority for the Dems: investigate and subpena the hell out of Bush's torture program. No more lies that make us look bad to the rest of the world.
