Texas Rainmaker points out that we’re unlikely to see John Bolton renominated either. There goes two people who have done their jobs extremely well by any measure except public (meaning liberal) opinion. I’m sure they won’t be the only ones resigning, especially considering how much the Democrats are hankering for impeachment of any and all people associated with the Bush administration.  The control Democrats have of congress is actually narrow enough that I think it could be a good thing for U.S. politics, despite their lack of almost any positive agenda.
