With news that Ken Mehlman is stepping down in January as Chairman of the RNC, there’s lots of speculation that his replacement might be Michael Steele.

Wouldn’t that just put the oreo-chunkers over the edge…

   Steele is a pro-life Catholic, experienced in running against the olds in deep-blue Maryland, a former state party chairman, and he won the hearts of the conservative blogosphere with his ass-kicking performance against Ben Cardin on “Meet the Press.”
