Funny how we were treated to every single one of Mark Foley's emails and IM's. Foley, a relatively unimportant Congressman. Yet barely a peep do we get about misuse of office from a man slated to become chairman of one of the House's most important Committees (Judiciary).

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) was all over Foley. Have they said anything about Conyers?

http://www.citizensforethics.org/press/index.php

Nope! Wonder why? Oh, I know... because the Melanie Sloan, the Exec. Director of CREW worked for Conyers!

Like Dem Presidential hopeful John Edwards, I've always said there are two Americas. There are the rules that are applied to Republicans with the entire force of every letter and intention of the law, then there are Democrats who simply flout the rules and when caught, if at all, make a few apologies and attempt to "move on."

Speaking of moving on... Have we found out who in Conyers office it was that stole 6o turkeys from a Detroit food bank destined for the poor to give out instead to Conyer's political supporters in 2004?

Again, we know more about the emails of an unimportant EX-Congressman, than we do about the misuse of office and stealing from the poor by a Democrat!
