Bush did acknowledge Global Warming exists during a debate with Al Gore during the 2000 presidential campaign by saying that "it needs to be taken very seriously." He apparently meant that taking it seriously means to suppress the scientific data and to walk away from his campaign pledge to regulate CO2. It is becoming crystal clear that everyone in this administration is a liar - from the top down, and on every issue as far as I can tell.
