President Bush, in the spirit of bipartisanship, accepted an invitation to speak to 200 House Democrats today. And Democrats, in the spirit of bipartisanship, acted like the hypocrites they are:

However high-minded the Democrats planned to be during Bush’s visit, they couldn’t help pointing out a few things. Talking points from Pelosi note that it was Bush who ordered the question-and-answer portion of his appearance closed to press. Democrats intended to answer questions afterward.

She did not mention that the caucus banned reporters from the resort, except for Bush’s speech.

Typical.

Here’s the message President Bush ought to deliver to the Democrats…

“I’ve upped my bipartisanship… now up yours.”
