Silence of the Lame
March 20th, 2007 8:58 am

Remember how James Hansen, director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, was complaining that the Bush administration was silencing him? And while being silenced, he was giving interviews to the New York Times, Time Magazine, CBS News and more…

…a lot more:

A NASA scientist who said the Bush administration muzzled him because of his belief in global warming yesterday acknowledged to Congress that he’d done more than 1,400 on-the-job interviews in recent years.

I guess the Bush administration just sucks as this censorship stuff.

And while Mr. Censored was being prevented from getting his pro-global warming message out, he was also moonlighting as a “senior adviser to Mr. Gore and consulted on Mr. Gore’s global warming film, “An Inconvenient Truth.”

How convenient.
