March 13, 2007 marked the four year anniversary of this blog. It all began with a message to the Dixie Chicks. In that spirit, and to show my appreciation to you, I am going to give away an iPod Shuffle… and no, no Dixie Chicks music will be pre-loaded.
Just leave a comment or trackback to this post and I’ll pick one at random to award the prize.
Just wanted to say, “Thank you.”
UPDATE:
Bumped to give all the lurkers one more chance to get in before I select a winner. (And yes, Canadians are eligible)
UPDATE 2:
And the winner is… Commenter #24. It was a random drawing of numbers and in a show of bipartisan support, the winner is Forrest - one of our resident libruls. I will have some other contests in the near future so don’t worry. Forrest (and everyone else that visits regularly) - thank you for visiting my humble blog regularly. Without you, this would just be a place for some guy to rant uncontrollably to himself.

Ooh! Ooh! Pick me, pick me!
I’ve been reading your blog for a couple of years now and really enjoy it. It’s nice to know that there are “real conservatives” out there like me. Thanks for the self-affirmation! Keep up the good work.

Do Canadians have a chance to win?

Beware The Ides of March…
So, my four year blogging anniversary came and went and I forgot about it - it was March 15. This might be a sign of me getting old, as my hair gradually graying hair can tell you (I’m almost 27)……

Screw the Dixie Chicks. Like Larry the Cable Guy said of Natalie Maines:
“If’n it weren’t fer them two good lookin’ sisters, that little fat one (Maines) would be workin at a Lane Bryant in Nashville!”

I have been reading for about a year. Anyone who doesn’t listen to the Dixie Chicks, but does read the bible every day,is my kind of blogger. God bless you!

I heard about your site from KFNS 97.1 in St. Louis. Crane always raves about your site and I am officially addicted. I wonder just how in the world does the “free press” actually think we shall be held down? People like you, many people like you keep my fires burning…thanks

Someone just dropped your site into the chat at Kingdom of Loathing. As an ex-Navy electrician, I wish I had found this sooner.

Congratulations and many more.
It’s hard to believe that the Dixie Chicks crap is four years old now.

Its nice seeing the dixie cowards have to prostitute thier art out to a frince sect of society for album sales. What ever will they do for album sales when they no longer the POTUS and country music fans to bash for it?

I just found your site in the last few months, you are one of my top sites. I took the time to read your first blog on the Dixie Chicks, it was a great point to be made. Thank you for your time!
God Bless

No, thank you (and pick me please). Here’s to many more years of suppressing the free speech of whiny millionaires everywhere.
