Virginia Tech? You have got to be kidding! You really believ that that kid did it because of hurt feelings? He was a deranged psychopath that should have been spotted for that, being deranged. But because of the fact that they did not want to risk frivalouse lawsuits by calling him out, they let him slip. Sometimes profiling is not a bad thing.

If half of what Bush claims is true, we are in more danger from hurt feelings than from terrorists! After all, we’re fighting them over there so we don’t have to fight them here… right?

You know what offends me? Seeing two gay people lavishing there affections on eachother in public. I really get offended by this. Why isn’t there a law out there to protect my feelings. And also all of the “Gentlemens” Club signs I pass up while going on outings with my family. Offensive ……again.

I think that society has gone to hell in a handbasket. Is it discrimination to pick someone up or pat them on the head? Perhaps. But people also need to take a freaking pill and calm down as well. It is most often meant as a joke and should be treated as one.

I guess we should get rid of laws that combat racism, homophobia, misogyny, and the like… those kinds of things basically just “hurt feelings” as well.

Or, maybe we can all respect each other and stop creating these artifical divisions. Then these things wouldn’t be an issue.

You know, instead of saying how ridiculous it is to make a law like this, why don’t we focus on how ridiculous it is that a law like this has to be even considered?

Maybe if people had more respect for each other and didn’t have these images of perfect and unrealistic body types bombarding them, we wouldn’t have to make rules like this to protect Ellen. Who the hell “playfully” scoops someone up and pats them on the head? It sounds pretty demeaning to me.

Just a thought.
