[...] Everytime Democrats want to implement bad policy, they have to trot out some phoney victim to make their case. Whether it’s opposition to the war using phoney soldiers, or using kids, elderly or poor people (who aren’t quite the victims the Democrats paint them to be) to peddle government-run healthcare. In 1996, Hillary Clinton propped up young Jennifer Bush, a seven-year-old with mystery ailments whose mother coached her to lobby for universal health care Jennifer was trotted out to present the Clintons a lucky silver dollar “to bring you good luck so everyone can have good insurance.” Jennifer’s mother was later convicted of aggravated child abuse and welfare fraud for misrepresenting $60,000 in assets on Medicaid forms.
[...] “Phony Soldier” or National Hero? There has been quite a bit of discussion lately regarding the term ‘phony soldier.’ Picking up on ‘Texas Rainmaker’s’ post “Democrats and Their Phony Soldiers Campaign,” I posted about the phony condemnation (of Rush Limbaugh’s “Phony Soldier” comment) by Reid and compatriots from the Senate Floor. ‘Mike’s America’ posted about “Phony Soldiers” and Stolen Valor” where he named quite a few people who made fraudulent claims of military service. Congress even passed legislation in 2005 creating the “Stolen Valor Act” which was signed into law by the president. [...]

[...] This Boils My Blood!!! Senator Reid is condemning Rush Limbaugh for something he (Rush) didn’t say… only Reid has chosen the Senate floor as the forum from which to speak - rather than the public forum. Texas Rainmaker has the scoop. Explore posts in the same categories: Morality, Politics [...]

That Jackass Reid has never seen the inside of a uniform and I venture he hasn't been real close to the outside of an occupied uniform, either! Here's a source.

Did Harry ever serve in the military? I haven't found a source yet.

But, I did fix a paragraph:

Harry Reid took it upon himself to attack the courage and character of those fighting and dying for him and for all of us. Harry Reid got himself a deferment from serving when he was a young man. He never served in uniform. He never saw in person the extreme difficulty of maintaining peace in a foreign country engaged in a civil war. He never saw a person in combat. Yet he thinks that his opinion on the war is worth more than those who have been on the front lines. And what’s worse, Reid’s words are broadcast on Armed Forces Radio, which means that thousands of troops, overseas, and veterans here at home, were forced to hear this attack on their patriotism. Harry Reid owes the men and women of our armed forces an apology.
