Remember Joe’s face the next time you hear Barack Obama claim that his policies will only target the “wealthiest one percent” and that he’s fighting for “middle class Americans”. Wurzelbacher is middle class America… and Obama admitted he would raise his taxes and redistribute his wealth to others.
UPDATE: Given the extensive coverage of “Joe the Plumber” in the 3rd debate, I’m bumping this post. I hope the media coverage of this exchange will show all those “undecideds” out there the Socialist that Barack Obama is.
UPDATE 2: The sentiment of mainstream middle-class has this to say about Barack the Socialist’s plan for America:
“To be honest with you, that infuriates me,” plumber Joe Wurzelbacher told Nightline’s Terry Moran. “It’s not right for someone to decide you made too much—that you’ve done too good and now we’re going to take some of it back.”
“That’s just completely wrong,” he added.
John McCain needs to get this guy out on the campaign trail for the next 18 days reminding Americans that Obama wants to take money from hard-working Americans and let the federal government decide who deserves your money more.
During his telephone interview with ABC News, the Ohio plumber argued that the government should not tax some more than others and argued that this principle should extend not only to Americans at his income-level but also to the world’s richest man.
“I don’t like it,” said Wurzelbacher. “You know, me or — you know, Bill Gates, I don’t care who you are. If you worked for it, if it was your idea, and you implemented it, it’s not right for someone to decide you made too much.”
UPDATE 3: Bumping this thread again as Joe the Plumber may just be the “game changer” we’ve been looking for. Even if McCain is stumbling on the kickoff return, he’s now been able to handoff to a guy who may just be able to take this thing to the endzone. In American politics today, the message has to be simple, concise and it must resonate with the “average American”. The message personified in Joe the Plumber is simple and clear… Democrats want to tax your hard-earned money away from you so they can decide how it should be spent. And as far as resonating with the “average American”… I don’t know how it can get anymore average American than Joe the Plumber…
I’m glad to see him getting media coverage. He’s saying what we’ve all been shouting at our televisions debate after debate. He’s finally giving a voice to the real mainstream of America. And all over the country, you can hear people saying, “Finally!”

Apparently, Joe’s criticism of the Socialist has ruffled the feathers of the local plumbers’ union (who, not surprisingly officially endorsed the Socialist) and efforts are underway to make sure Joe is unemployed by tomorrow. Ah, the American Socialist dream…
A staff person with the Toledo Division of Building Inspection told On Call this afternoon that her division will contact Wurzelbacher to notify him that he can’t work without a license.
“We’re trying to track him down,” she said.
As AP says, “Look on the bright side. The media’s finally starting to vet acquaintances of Barack Obama.”
And while some Obama supporters are trying to force a blue collar worker out of his job for daring to question the messiah and his socialist policies, Obama’s campaign is rooting through jail cells trying to register more criminals to vote for him.
Barack Obama’s campaign prides itself on grassroots organizing, with thousands of staff members targeting numerous subsets of the population for voter registration and persuasion. One even sought to register inmates.
An internal email from the Michigan Department of Corrections in August describes a request from the campaign to enter jails to register those inmates set to be released before Election Day.
This epitomizes the choice in this election. Hard-working, average American who wants to keep more of what he’s worked hard for vs. criminals who want to take your money and decide, for themselves, how it should be spent.
UPDATE 6: The messiah responds to the Joementum… by making fun of blue collar workers:
“He’s tryin’ to suggest that, that, that a plumber is the guy he’s fightin’ for. How many plumbers you know makin’ a quarter of a million dollars a year?”
