Biden Makes Case Against Obama (Again)
October 20th, 2008 7:32 am

Barack Obama’s running mate just can’t stop reminding Americans why he should not be elected President. Expanding on his claim that Barack Obama doesn’t have the necessary experience to lead the nation and that the Presidency is no place for on-the-job-training, Biden warns us that Obama’s way in over his head:

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help.

Thanks for the warning, Joe. I’m sure most of us would rather elect a guy who can handle the job on day one as opposed to the guy who’s going to need to spend the first 6 months in training courses and self-study modules. Obama is probably wondering if there’s an online course for this Commander-in-Chief gig. I wonder if his transition plan includes a “study abroad” class in France for his first semester as President.
