Putting aside the great orator’s inability to complete a sentence without saying “uh” over and over, check out how the community organizer in chief promotes his government-run healthcare fiasco…
“If you think about… If you, if you think about it, uh, ya know, UPS and FedEx are doin’ just fine. A’ight? The, uh… no, they are. I mean, it’s, it’s the post office that’s always havin’ problems.”
So, according to Obama’s own example:
It’s the private sector companies that are “doing just fine“…
…while the government-run organization is the one that’s “always havin’ problems“.
Probably not the best analogy to use, genius.
Another interesting note… Obama and his friends in Congress and the Media have been campaigning on the idea that opponents of his government-run healthcare plan are somehow spreading myths and lies about the plan (they’ve even used the white house website as a campaign tool for this)… yet, it’s Obama who is outright lying about the plan.
“Well, first of all, another myth that we’ve been hearing about is this notion that somehow we’re going to be cutting your Medicare benefits. We are not. AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare, okay?”
Obama, clearly trying to give the impression that AARP has endorsed his plan was called out for his whopper of a lie by… AARP, themselves.
“While the President was correct that AARP will not endorse a health care reform bill that would reduce Medicare benefits, indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate.”
Maybe we should submit this fishy myth to email@example.com.
I moved this update to a dedicated post to accommodate additional information found about Obama’s support for a single-payer system.
