Sounds like a decent gesture, afterall reading to schoolchildren is a traditional Presidential photo op pasttime… Except, in this instance the President was reading because he’s apparently too stupid to give a speech to middleschoolers without the aid of teleprompters.
It’s always nice to know that the guy representing our country to world powers can’t even speak to a room full of school children without a prepared script scrolling on a pair of teleprompters.

Given the embarrassing results of his stumping for Democrat candidates in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachussetts and his miserable failure in campaigning for the Olympics in Copenhagen, I’ve figured out a winning strategy for us to defeat the terrorists….
Send Barack Obama to the middle east to campaign for al-Qaida.

We warned you. We told you that if you tried to ram that socialist agenda down our throats, we’d shove revolt back up your asses. You didn’t learn when voters sent you packing in Virginia and New Jersey. Despite the community organizer in chief swooping into those states to gladhand the koolaid drinking sheep. We told you that America is built on the foundation that all men are created equal, endowed by our Creator, with life, liberty and justice for all. These weren’t suggestions of how people should be treated, these are core principles upon which our country was founded and by God, we will never let them disappear without a fight.
You’ve overstepped your bounds. You’ve tried to thrust upon us a government that, under the guise of dispensing justice, favors kickbacks to supporters at the expense of the opposition and prefers handouts to the greedy at the expense of the hardworking men and women that keep this country moving everyday. You’ve continued to spend more than you should, or our money, never worrying whether the expense was sound, reasonable or financially viable. You’ve killed job growth, rewarded failure and cast a dark cloud over this country. You’ve waived the banner of cradle-to-grave government and the citizens of America have resoundingly objected it.
The message could not be more clear. We want a government that fears the people, not the other way around. We hope you’ve gotten the message this time. We’re mad as hell and we won’t stand by while you dismantle all the things that make this country great.
And let not your heart be troubled… we will be back. We do not view last night’s repudiation of your socialist agenda as an end, but a beginning. You’ve awakened the sleeping giant and he’s pretty pissed off.
See you in November.

Our pastor, Dr. Ed Young, takes on corruption in Washington with a biblical perspective. A truly must-hear sermon.

Democrats have been hyperventilating with glee over being able to use an innuendo-laden term like “teabaggers” to refer to American citizens with legitimate grievances against an over-bearing, pork-infested, rights-limiting, ever-encroaching federal government. It was sad enough when being used by unemployed hippies showing up to their daily liberal protests, and became downright ridiculous when anchors on networks like MSNBC and CNN started tossing the term around, seemingly impressed with themselves that they could be so crafty as to use a putdown that would rank high in an elementary school playground fight… but now we have United States Senators and one-time, has-been, uppity, elitist Presidential candidates doing it?
I think it’s only appropriate, then, to start referring to Democrats as D-baggers.

What happens when Democrats find themselves behind in elections?
SCHULTZ (23:02): I tell you what, if I lived in Massachusetts I’d try to vote 10 times. I don’t know if they’d let me or not, but I’d try to. Yeah, that’s right. I’d cheat to keep these bastards out. I would. ‘Cause that’s exactly what they are.
The more we hope, the less they change.

One man potentially stands as the last line of defense against a disastrous monstrosity of legislation that threatens the United States. That man is Scott Brown. On January 19th, voters in Massachusetts will go to the polls in a special election to fill the Massachusetts Class I Senate seat (formerly held by Ted Kennedy), for the remainder of the term ending January 3, 2013. The election has become a referendum of sorts on the healthcare fiasco currently being crafted through backroom deals and shady bribery among the Democrat-controlled Congress. If Republican Scott Brown can pull off an upset in the blue state, he would become the 41st Republican in the Senate, ending the Democrat super majority.
Brown’s campaign had a goal of raising $500,000 today. So far, he’s raised $1.3 million and counting. Click here to raise that total.
By the way, here’s Brown during a recent debate reminding people just whose seat is up for grabs in this election.
