Tea Party vs. Occupying Deadbeats
October 11th, 2011 12:20 pm

As I say repeatedly… I strongly support the First Amendment… it’s the best tool for identifying idiots. As you’re watching this video, make a note of the “tolerance” of the liberal idiots.

I love the fact that when faced with an actual debate on the facts, liberal morons resort to simply two-line chants. It’s as if their tiny monkey brains can’t hold more than those basic rhyming refrains, so their handlers keep it simple for them.

Useful idiots.

Supporting the Troops
March 20th, 2007 10:41 am

The Left gives us another lesson in how to “support the troops“:

Burn them in effigy.

Don’t forget to burn the flag for good measure.

Declare your support for them! (Even if you think “support” starts with an “F”)

I think they should add something to the banner that declares “No gods, No countries, No masters”…

…like “No jobs, No bathing, No clue

I’m starting to rethink my opposition to the human shield idea now.

UPDATE:
And here comes another mildly retarded kid with a ski maskat the University of Toledo:

Can’t you just feel the irony dripping from this kid’s trust fund? Yeah, I’m questioning your patriotism… and your intellect, moron.

Gathering of Eagles
March 17th, 2007 11:07 pm

Reports coming in that they were 30,000 strong. Would’ve loved to have been there. Lots of pictures and video from the event:

Why did the Eagles come? One common refrain: Vietnam veterans, some fighting back tears, told us they came to show the kind of support for the troops that they did not receive when the surrender lobby marched on the Pentagon 40 years ago today.

Mission accomplished.

Indeed.

You just gotta love the hypocritical Left.

While some high-profile Hollywood elitists are busy protesting a proposed natural gas facility that would be 14 miles off the coast of Malibu, they’re busy dumping raw sewage directly on the beaches of Malibu. (hat tip: BCB)

Meanwhile, on the other coast, America’s first offshore wind farm, a clean source of energy sitting 6 miles offshore, that will provide up to 3/4 of Nantucket’s electricity is being opposed by liberal elitists because they don’t want any threat of obstructions to the view from their multi-million dollar compounds.

But hey… for everyone else, that green-living is a heckuva deal.

UPDATE:
I knew it wouldn’t be long before Al Gore made his presence known in this post.

Former Vice President Al Gore appeared in Berkeley on Monday to lend his celebrity and reputation as a crusader against global warming to a measure on California’s Nov. 7 ballot that would tax oil companies to raise $4 billion for green energy projects.

“I’m here to change peoples’ minds on the climate crisis and to support Prop 87,'’ Gore called to a group of reporters after he emerged from the “100 miles per gallon'’ Toyota Prius that brought him to a noontime rally in a sun-drenched park behind Berkeley’s City Hall.

His motorcade also included three motorcycles, two limousines and a Dodge Ram 1500 light duty truck.

Gore likened the global-warming crisis to having a sick child: No responsible parent would delay treatment once a diagnosis is rendered, he said.

But Gore’s treatment is like making the sick kid chase an ounce of antibiotic with a gallon of cyanide.

Liberal’s Hate Free Speech
October 5th, 2006 9:54 am

…and they proved it again last night at Columbia University. Just as Minutemen Project co-founder Jim Gilchrist was being introduced, a bunch of angry liberals rushed the stage, shouting and started fights. (CUTV has video)

They prevented Gilchrist from speaking, yet they’re the ones claiming:

We celebrate free speech: for that reason we allowed the Minutemen to speak, and for that same reason we peacefully occupied the stage and spoke ourselves. Our peaceful protest was violently attacked by members of the College Republicans and their supporters, who are the very same people who invited the Minutemen to our campus in the first place. The Minutemen are not a legitimate voice in the debate on immigration. They are a racist, armed militia who have declared open hunting season on immigrants, causing countless hate crimes and over 3000 deaths on the border. Why should exploitative corporations have free passes between nations, but individual people not? No human being is illegal.

They celebrate free speech by rushing the stage and preventing someone with an opposing viewpoint to speak. Then they claim that the speaker is not a legitimate voice in the debate. So why don’t you let them speak and let the listeners decide for themselves?

I agree with Captain Ed:

It takes very little courage to form a mob, and even less brains, as we see from this example. Gilchrist may be all wet, or he may be a genius, but the students at Columbia didn’t bother to find out either. The mobsters apparently have no ability to respond to Gilchrist with reasoned arguments and contrary data, and so they did what any bully does — use violence to silence their intellectual superiors.

Ed also wonders why the protestors held a banner in English and Arabic. I think I know.

Here’s what passes for “legitimate dialog” by these wacky people:

“Workers of the world unite! Same struggle, same fight!”

“Minutemen, Nazis, KKK! Racists, fascists, go away!”

“You don’t know shit about god! Black white supremacist!” “Go home!”

There’s a nice healthy debate.

And contrast this event with the way conservatives respond to Michael Moore speaking at a college campus:

To counter Moore’s appearance, UA College Republicans have booked conservative columnist Ann Coulter for a campus appearance Oct. 21.

…and another:

California State University at San Marcos cancelled Moore’s campus appearance on the grounds Moore was too partisan a speaker for a university-sponsored event so soon before the election, the Chronicle of Higher Education reported.

The San Marcos student government, Associated Students Inc., protested by collecting enough funds to host Moore. Both liberal and conservative students pushed for Moore’s visit, saying speakers visit campuses to provoke discussion.

…and another:

Joe Vogel, one of the student government leaders who withstood criticism for inviting Moore, says he thinks the controversy surrounding Moore’s appearance, which also prompted a counter-appearance by conservative pundit Sean Hannity, motivated many students to vote.

Liberals do actually love free speech… so long as it’s only provided to them.

…is tomorrow. The list of speakers is priceless. They’re going to march in the streets and try to “drive out the Bush regime”. I guess this is the next logical step when election fraud doesn’t pan out the way they planned.

A couple of speakers on the list jumped out at me, though. Democrat Congress members Maurice Hinchey and Cynthia “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee” McKinney. Other names that have shown up on the “endorsement flyer” include Democrat Congress members John Conyers and Maxine Waters.

It’s highly inappropriate for members of Congress to be joining violent movements for the purpose of calling for the overthrow of a democratically-elected government where participants carry signs depicting the decapitation of our President.

These bums ought to be tossed out of Congress for conduct unbecoming.

Apparently They Do Need Some Education
September 18th, 2006 8:30 am

Drudge is running a flash about the political message contained in the latest Roger Waters (of Pink Floyd fame) concert tour. Here’s what has been seen flying around at the concerts:

Notice anything unusual about it?

Here’s video from the concert at Jones Beach Amphitheater in New York.

The message scrawled across the pig says, “Don’t be led to the slaughter, Vote Democrat November 2nd“.

Were these just recycled pigs from 2004… when election day was November 2nd? For those unfamiliar with the American electoral system, the election occurs on the Tuesday after the First Monday in November… which is November 7th this year.

This from the band that brought us the song, “We don’t need no education“…

Maybe, just maybe they actually could use some.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. They just can’t bring themselves to admit the truth… they hate the troops. Here’s more from the anti-war troop movement:

IT’S FRIDAY NIGHT, and I’m trolling for interviews at the Code Pink protest outside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. But this time, Bruce “The Bouncer” Wolf makes it clear that I am persona non grata.

The protester that Smash speaks with (”Bruce”) makes this claim:

What we’re thinking about, to be really honest, are the soldiers. You know, whether you believe us or not, that’s what we’re here for.

…and then backs it up with this action:

ABOUT AN HOUR LATER, a couple of soldiers come out the gate from the hospital. They are greeted warmly by the Freepers, who thank them for their service and ask them how their recovery is coming along.

A few minutes later, the soldiers decide to head on down to attempt a dialogue with the protesters. I follow several yards behind, to observe the interaction.

Even though I’m out of earshot, I can tell from the body language that it’s not going well. Bruce attempts to keep the soldiers away from the protest, and most of the Pinkos won’t even acknowledge their presence. Eventually, they leave.

Then “Bruce” tells the soldiers to “Get lost!”

Here are the soldiers’ comments about the incidence:

Mason: They wouldn’t even talk to us! How are they supporting us, if they won’t even talk to us, or look us in the eye?

P.D.: The general attitude was, they were kind of pushing us out. Wouldn’t talk to us. Just blowing us off.

Mason: Oh, yes sir. We had told them all about our background. I served in Iraq. He served in Afghanistan and Iraq. We were patients at the hospital. That we were just curious… But that did not seem like a good answer to them.

Mason: The majority of ‘em, ninety-nine percent of ‘em, didn’t even look us in the eye. Wouldn’t even turn and acknowledge our presence.

P.D.: Yeah, they wouldn’t even turn around and look at us.

Pathetic.

From KIRO-TV (hat tip: Michelle):

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is searching for five people who allegedly attacked a uniformed National Guardsmen walking along 138th Street in Parkland Tuesday afternoon.

The soldier was walking to a convenience store when a sport utility vehicle pulled up alongside him and the driver asked if he was in the military and if he had been in any action.

The driver then got out of the vehicle, displayed a gun and shouted insults at the victim. Four other suspects exited the vehicle and knocked the soldier down, punching and kicking him.

“And during the assault the suspects called him a baby killer. At that point they got into the car and drove off and left him on the side of the road,” Detective Ed Troyer with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Such a peaceful anti-war troop movement, isn’t it?

They just can’t bring themselves to admit the truth… they hate the troops. Period.
